Restoration
My background in the methods and materials common to
sculpture has led to commissioned restoration projects. My
interest here lies in the historical perspective gained in
research, the pleasure of problem solving on behalf of my
clients, and the personal reward of knowing I have done
something significant for a community or individual. I
strive to offer reasonable and cost effective solutions to
repair and rehabilitation.
Restorations may require significant repair, and often the replacement
of missing parts. This involves detailed modeling, mold making, and
casting, as well as a careful assembly of the final piece.
